Now with even more hair

Hot Leg describe themselves as an ‘entirely hairier beast’ than The Darkness, though how any band could have more hair is quite hard to imagine. Their debut single, Trojan Guitar, is more than five minutes of riffs, melodies, solos and dropdowns that they describe as a ‘medieval epic’. It was released on Monday through Barbecue Rock Records and an album will follow early next year. Their UK headline tour has so far been a huge success. At one venue Hawkins even invited a 70-year-old female fan on to the stage to sing. Joining Hawkins in Hot Leg is Pete Rinaldi on lead guitar, Samuel SJ Stokes on bass and Darby Todd on drums. You can see them at the Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea, tomorrow.
Tickets cost £10 and are available online at www.myspace.com/teamhotleg,where you will need to follow the link to Music Glue. Each Music Glue ticket purchase will also get a free download of Hot Leg track Heroes, a track not on the album. Tickets are also available from the venue. Call ![]()
